A Career in Accounting is Beyond Debit and Credit: Accounting for Sustainability

On November 14th 2022, International Program of SBM, Petra Christian University in collaboration with Macquarie University, Australia is conducting a seminar entitled “A Career in Accounting is Beyond Debit and Credit: Accounting for Sustainability“. The speaker of this event is Professor Johannes Dumay from Macquarie University, Australia.

Prof Johannes Dumay is a Professor in Accounting and Finance from Macquarie University and he is regarded as one of the best Researcher in Accounting and Taxation in Australia. During his presentation, he explained about the need and usage of accounting that not only for business purposes, but can also used in order to achieve better wellbeing of society. He shared his research, “Chocolate Scorecard”, which helps to increase the welfare of people in Africa.
