On this January, International Business Accounting Program has an International Study Excursion for their students Batch 2017 which is they are went to Japan. It is held for around one week. They went to Japan with Miss Saarce Elsye Hatane as one of the IBAcc lecturer.

In the First day, They are visited Liberty Building and Meiji University, then they are learnt something in Meiji University with Professor Kato. They are also went to library and museum inside the Meiji University. In another day, they are visiting the companies appointed by ACCA such as Novartis. Next, they are went to Tokyo and the society in there. Last day in Japan, they went to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi area.

Finally, the students are really enjoyed the International trip to Japan because they are not only learn something but they also can having fun together.

On 7 November 2018, International Business Accounting, Petra Christian University held an events namely Accounting Talk.

There are two speakers in the Accounting Talk. The First Speaker is Prof. Lee Chew Ging (Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Science, Nottingham University). The Second Speaker is Ricky, S.E., MRE.Ed.D (Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Petra Christian University).

In this Accounting Talk, they are talking about How the condition of the Economic today and How about the Economic condition in the future especially in the year of 2019 including what will be facing in the Economics area in the year of 2019. Last as the closing of the Accounting Talk, the speaker give a tips what should we do for facing Global and Indonesia Economy Outlook in the year of 2019.

On 24 October 2018, International Business Accounting (IBAcc) held a workshop about "Design Thinking for Innovation".

The trainer for this workshops is Dr. Pek Chuen Khee from University of Nottingham. In this workshop, there are some IBAcc students who are joining which is batch 2018, 2017 and batch 2016.

At the first session of the workshop, Dr. Pek Chuen Khee, explains to the students about what is Design Thinking means. After that He aslo asks the students to discuss about what they need to do and interviewing students or lecturers for around 20 minutes. After doing the interview, the students need to share what they get by stick their answer in the big flip chart so they can discuss it together.

In 26 September 2018, International Business Accounting held an event which is Accounting Talk. The theme of the Accounting Talk on that date is Accountant 4.0: " What Digitalization Means for the Future of Accounting?".

The speaker of this events are Dr. Foo Yee Boon, PhD, FCCA (Senior Lecture of Monash University and Josua Tarigan, PhD, CMA (Head of International Business Accounting Program).

On that Accounting Talk, Dr. Foo Yee Boon explaining about Blockchain as the example of Accountant 4.0 and How Artificial Intelligence can make Accounting work well.

This graduation is to celebrate all of your achievement as a college students of International Business Accounting (IBAcc), Petra Christian University.

This graduation is not the end of your journey, but this is the start of your journey to the next step ahead.

On 23 - 24 August 2018, International Business Accounting, Petra Christian University held the event which is the PIBAC (Petra International Business Accounting Competition) event. 

For this time the theme of the PIBAC is El Dorado. This events are joining by the Senior High School students in Surabaya as the participants. In this event there are three rounds. The first round is the rally games. The second round is the trading session. The third round is the case study that needs to be presented to the Judges.  The Judgjes of this event are : Mr. Josua Tarigan, Phd., CMA, CFP, CSRA,CIBA. Mrs. Saarce Elsye Hatane, S.Ak.,CA. and Mr. Ahmadi Hadibroto, S.Ak., Msc, CA, CPA. 

On the first round which is the rally games, every groups that can get many points can continue to the second round. in the second round six groups with the highest score from the trading session can continue to the final round which is the case studies where they need to present their result to the Judges. Lastly, you will see some pictures of the PIBAC events below.

This events is the Accounting Talk Serries held by International Business Accounting of Petra Christian University on May 8th 2018 ("Industry 4.0 How Digitalization Make The Supply Chain More Effective?") & May, 9th 2018 ("Asia and Global Strategic Business Insights").

Both Accounting Talk will feature Ferry Jie, PhD an Associate Professor from Edith Cowan University, Australia as the main speaker and Josua Tarigan, PhD, CMA, Head of International Business Accounting Program as the moderator

This Immersion Program is one of the students activities where the students can go International to study in that country for several days. 

This Immersion program is for the students in the second or third years of their study in International Business Accounting (IBAcc).

With joining the Immersion Program the students can get a new experience and they can learn a new culture in that country.

Some of those picture are when Batch 2016 went to Japan for visiting the JIU University.

The last is the moderator of this events which is Saarce Elsye Hatane, S.E.Ak., MBA as the head of Business Accounting Program.

There are more than 10 participants come to that Accounting Talk Series they are come from International Business Accounting students, others departments of Petra Christian university and outside Petra Christian Unviversity. 

PIBAC adalah acara tahunan program studi International Business Accounting (IBAcc) UK Petra untuk para siswa SMA. Setelah sukses pada tahun 2016, PIBAC hadir lagi ditahun 2017 ini. Tema PIBAC 2017 adalah MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Tema ini diangkat karena pada zaman yang modern ini manusia mengharapkan semua kegiatan dapat terselesaikan dengan baik.  PIBAC 2017 diadakan selama 1 hari bertempat di  Universitas Kristen Petra (UKP) pada tanggal 14 Agustus 2017.PIBAC 2017 dibagi menjadi 3 babak yaitu Babak I berupa Rally Games. Didalam Babak I poin yang didapatkan digunakan untuk melanjutkan ke Babak II yang berupa Trading. Pada Babak II, setiap team yang bisa mendapatkan keuntungan yang sudah ditentukan oleh panitia dapat melanjutkan ke Babak III yang adalah business case study. Pada Babak terakhir apabila ada 5 / 6 team yang dapat mengumpulkan jumlah poin terbanyak dapat melanjutkan ke Babak Final.
